How to Clean and Store a Rhinestone Belt
A little care keeps the crystals bright and the strap in shape. These tips apply to most rhinestone belts.
Cleaning
- Wipe the strap and crystals with a soft, dry cloth.
- Use a barely damp cloth for marks, then dry right away.
- Use a soft brush to lift dust from around the crystals and buckle.
What to avoid
- Soaking the belt or washing it in a machine.
- Harsh cleaners, alcohol or strong chemicals.
- Leaving it in hot cars or direct sun for long periods.
Storage
- Store flat or rolled loosely so the strap does not crease.
- Keep belts separate so the crystals do not rub on each other.
- Hang by the buckle on a hook if you wear it often.
